Fee Schedule
ARBITRATION FEES
Due to the unique nature of most arbitrations, please contact my office to discuss arbitration rates and policies.
MEDIATION FEES
All mediation fees are split evenly among the parties. A “party” is defined as all parties represented by the same counsel.
For 2–3 party matters, the fee is $3,000 for a half-day mediation and $6,000 for a full-day mediation.
For 4–5 party matters, the fee is $7,000 for a full-day mediation.
For 6+ party matters, custom rates are available. Please contact my office.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If the mediation is cancelled or rescheduled less than 72 hours (Monday-Friday) prior to the scheduled session, each party will be billed for their portion of the fee.
This policy is intended as fair compensation for reserving time that typically cannot be filled on short notice.
BILLING MATTERS
A half-day mediation is scheduled for four hours. A full-day mediation is scheduled for eight hours.
Fees include reasonable document review, hearing preparation, and follow-up. There are no administrative, scheduling, or rescheduling fees.
Payments should be made in accordance with the payment instructions on the invoice. Counsel for each party is financially responsible for ensuring timely payment of all mediation fees.

Trusted Experience
RICHARD P. MYERS, ESQ.
With more than three decades of legal experience and over a decade serving full-time as a neutral, Richard Myers brings seasoned judgment, practical insight, and a steady approach to dispute resolution.
Richard practiced law from 1979 to 2012, primarily in Colorado, and is also licensed in Texas. During that time, he represented both plaintiffs and defendants across a broad range of matters, including personal injury litigation, insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, construction, contracts, and toxic tort claims.
His background includes appearances in County, State, and Federal courts, together with trial work, appellate matters, and administrative proceedings. Having worked with clients on both sides of the aisle, Richard offers a balanced perspective on litigation risk, case value, and the practical considerations that often drive settlement.
Beyond the Practice of Law
Outside the practice of law, Richard owned and operated a real estate rehabilitation company, managed a Denver-based rock band, and ran his own record label—experience that adds a practical, entrepreneurial perspective to his work as a neutral.
Coming from a family with deep roots in construction and hands-on problem solving, Richard also brings an appreciation for how disputes impact businesses, projects, and the people behind them.
ADR Experience
While practicing law, Richard personally participated in mediations and arbitrations as counsel. Since January 2013, he has served full-time as a mediator and arbitrator, helping parties resolve disputes efficiently, thoughtfully, and with professionalism.
Richard is known for a practical approach that combines preparation, patience, and direct communication. He understands that successful resolution often requires more than legal analysis alone—it requires listening, credibility, persistence, and the ability to move parties toward common ground.
Available in Colorado, Florida & Beyond
Richard splits his time between Colorado and Florida and is available as a neutral throughout both states, nationwide, and internationally.
